Classic Fonts are known throughout the industry for, and proud of, our in house design skills. These skills are the accumulation of over forty years experience in the foundry industry and because of this pride we have named our fonts after some of the world’s greatest sculptors.
Experience
Designing a font is not a matter of just designing a form that looks good. The designer has to take into account the complexity of the form and from his experience he can work out, perhaps just from a sketch presented to him, whether it can be cast or indeed can it be polished after it is cast? If not the design has to be modified.
Tooling
We design our own tooling – giving us control of the product and lowering the tooling costs

Our fonts are manufactured to a high standard and known for their high quality finish.
